Refund policy
Ghostwright offers refunds in one circumstance: technical failure.
What qualifies for a refund
- The app says your book is ready, but you cannot download it
- The delivered file is corrupt, incomplete, or unreadable
- The press failed mid-generation and your credit was not automatically restored
What does not qualify
- You don't like the book's plot, characters, or prose style
- You changed your mind after pressing start
- You expected a different outcome than what the bible preview showed
- The book doesn't match a mental image you didn't communicate in the brief
Why this policy exists
The story bible review step exists specifically so you can inspect and approve the creative direction before committing. Characters, setting, voice, plot structure... it's all visible and editable before you press start. That step is your quality gate for creative direction.
Once you press start, the engine generates a full book from the bible you approved. Refunding for "I don't like it" after approving the bible would be equivalent to approving a blueprint and then asking for your money back after the house is built.
How to request a refund
Email support@ghostwright.io with your account email and a description of the technical issue. Include the book title or session ID if possible.
