Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. The service

Ghostwright ("we," "the service") is a book-generation press. You provide creative direction via a brief; we produce a manuscript, cover, and publishing package.

2. Your account

You need a valid email address to use Ghostwright. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person.

3. What you own

Outputs from a press you've paid for are yours. The manuscript, cover, metadata, and all delivered files. You own them. Publish under any name, on any platform. No royalty share, no licensing restrictions, no attribution required.

4. What we own

The Ghostwright service, engine, interface, prompts, quality systems, and brand assets remain ours. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the service itself.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Ghostwright to produce content that:

  • Violates applicable law
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains or promotes child sexual abuse material
  • Celebrates or promotes violence, terrorism, or hate groups

We reserve the right to refuse generation and terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Payment and credits

You pay per book at the listed price. Payment is processed via Stripe. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable except as described in our refund policy.

7. Refunds

See our refund policy. Refunds cover technical failure only.

8. AI disclosure

All output is AI-generated. You are responsible for disclosing this appropriately when publishing (e.g., KDP's AI-content declaration). We provide disclosure text and guidance in every delivery package.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Generation may occasionally fail, and credits are automatically restored.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. We'll email you about material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
